WARNING-- REAL INCONVENIENCE! THIS
PAGE IS MOSTLY FOR FANATICS. AND IN ANY CASE
IT'S NO LONGER MAINTAINED.
The "RESOURCES" pages provided on my main page seek to be at least somewhat organized, rational, and trustworthy. "Morningside Mix," however, has no such aspirations. It's my own private bookmark collection on South Asia, so I do what I please with it. Over time it's become very elaborate; it contains folders within folders and so on. Sites in the "Morningside Mix" list range from the wonderful and invaluable to the inaccurate, nutty, and/or offensive. A site in this list is NOT necessarily endorsed in any way. It's just something I thought I might want to return to. The list and the categorization are entirely idiosyncratic-- they are designed only to suit my own research interests and tastes. I weed out dead links as I happen to find them. I know there are large problems with dating and other scholarly matters. Since I'm a low-tech type, and since this list must be easily and frequently updatable, the best I can do is to make it available here as a single long web-page. This means that using it requires a lot of scrolling, which is a bother. I don't recommend doing it unless you're really in the mood. (But I do know a few people who will enjoy it.) Here are the main categories in the order in which they appear, each of course with many sub-folders: Here is the list itself-- a rough quarry from which you can dig all kinds of odd things.000==LANGUAGES |
