"Mookhtar-ool-Mulk Sir Salar Jung, minister of the Nizam of Hyderabad and the real ruler of the country." Oct. 14, 1876. A beautiful and rare original lithograph from England's popular periodical, Vanity Fair (1868-1914). In addition to offering humorous and witty articles and observations on British life, each weekly issue of Vanity Fair included a lithographic caricature of a noted member of society. Artist: Sir Leslie Ward familiarly known as "Spy."
