"Wooden Mask of Indra. Kathmandu Valley. 16th-17th century. Wood with traces of polychromy. Height: 9.5". This sensitive rendering of Indra, characterized by a distinctive crown and horizontal third eye, is a rare surviving example of ritual masks displayed during the festival of Indra at the end of the fall harvest season in the Kathmandu Valley."
