"SMALL QUR'AN WRITTEN ON GOLD PAINTED PAPER. Probably Mughal India, 17th century. Manuscript on gold-painted paper, 286ff. with 15ll. of neat black naskh, blue and red roundels between verses, sura headings in white within panels, opening illuminated bifolium, good condition, in 19th century red morocco binding. Folio 3¾ x 2 1/8in. (9.4 x 5cm.)."
