This book was done back when small white index cards were the tool of choice for bibliographers. It is now of course extremely out of date. But for this book, as for almost all my others, I had a major role in designing the cover. This particular design was loosely based on a small motif from the cover of an old hand-colored Haft Paikar edition that I liked very much.
