In 'in mourning for you, no one cried aloud and wept' there's also the suggestion that some people probably wept silently/stealthily. Thus the reason that on Mir's death there was no weeping and crying aloud, was perhaps that people feared the murderer or the ruler, that if they wept aloud then they too would be subject to wrath.

Just as in other verses Mir has versified the theme of remaining distinct from other lovers (in death or in life), in the same way in some verses he has also versified the theme of remaining absolutely friendless and alone. But this friendlessness is not any conventional friendlessness; rather, it seems to be the result of some situation described in the verse.

For example, in the first divan he's said:

Does the verse really suggest that there were silent or stealthy mourners? To me it sounds more probable, in view of the first line, that there were none at all.
