paraagandah : 'Widely separated or parted, widely sundered, scattered, dispersed, dissipated, routed; distracted, disturbed (in mind)'. (Platts p.236)
FWP:
For discussion of this ghazal as a whole, see {949,1}.
The wordplay is fine-- ek with its unity and singleness, then paraagandah with its sense of bits and pieces scattered all around, then ;saanii as a 'second'.
In whose eyes? The apnii is left floating, since the grammatical subject (to which it officially should apply) is ;saanii . So it could of course be taken as short for Mir's 'own' eyes [us kii apnii], or else the speaker's 'own' eyes [merii apnii]
Here again, 'he' is presented as being alive.
