garmī se maiñ to ātish-e ġham kī pighal gayā
rātoñ ko rote rote hī jūñ shamʿa gal gayā

1) from the heat of the fire of grief, I melted/dissolved
2) in the nights, only/emphatically weeping and weeping, like a candle, I wasted/dissolved away

The opening-verse is put in by way of an introduction [barā-e bait]. In it, except for the tajnis of rātoñ and rote there's nothing special.
