In this verse too [as in {1836,6}], in the second line repetition has been used to fine effect. The tajnis [tajniis] of rahaa (the past of rahnaa ) and rihaa (freed from prison) is excellent.

And hu))aa apparently seems to be connected with ;Gam-gii;N ( ;Gam-gii;N hu))aa ), but it's clear that its connection is with rihaa))ii . On the basis of repetition, the line seems apparently to be meaningless, and when we pause and reflect, then the meaning is manifest and pleasure is obtained.

The theme too is somewhat fine-- that in bondage sometimes the heart felt joy as well (for example, when remembering past happiness, or imagining freedom), but ever since freedom has been vouchsafed, now there's nothing left in life to make it happy. There's also the point that in bondage there was after all some relationship with the Hunter (=the beloved); now there's not even that.
